Feeding animals
DAILY 8:45 AM AND 5:30 PM
Twice a day you can help Peter feed the animals on the farm.
We have cows, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens and guinea pigs. Sometimes Peter starts feeding a little earlier or later, but when he starts he always shouts very loudly: “Feed animals!”
Farm tour
TUESDAY AND SATURDAY 10:15
Every Tuesday and Saturday we go out with the tractor.
Then we would like to show you how a dairy farm works. With a real old-timer tractor and farmer’s cart we drive straight through the meadow to our neighbors, Farmer Martin and Farmer’s wife Paula. We show you the farm with more than two hundred cows.
Pizza evening
WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY 18:00*
Make your own pizza during the pizza night
There is a large wood-burning oven in the yard. On Wednesday and Saturday* the logs are lit and it is pizza night. Grab a ball of pizza dough, roll it around and make something beautiful out of it with the fresh ingredients that are ready. The evening sun, a glass of cold lemonade and taste how delicious we can bake pizzas on the farmland. We end the pizza night with marshmallows by the campfire!
Whole pizza: € 15 p.p.
Half pizza: € 7.50 p.p. (up to +/- 4 years)
*With a minimum of 8 pizzas, we light the wood oven.
Otherwise, there is a DIY pizza kit.
Go on an adventure yourself
There is plenty to do in the yard! Go on an adventure yourself and discover what there is to do on the farm.
Collecting an egg
Pick up a fresh egg in the chicken coop
An egg for breakfast, that comes straight from the chickens. In the large chicken coop you can collect eggs yourself.
Play
There is plenty of space to play in the yard:
swings, slides, sandbox with water pump, go-karts, balance bikes, scooters and of course the large trampoline.
Swimming
Warm? Cool off in the pool!
Don’t worry when your little one goes out. The pool is protected by a chestnut fence.
Discover nature
Go on a treasure hunt in nature with the free-range kids box
Look for everything that lives in the trees, shrubs and ditches. In the country shop you will find the free-range kids box with all kinds of items to borrow, such as bird search cards, ditch search cards, landing nets, magnifying glasses and binoculars.
On an adventure in the area
There is a lot to do in the area.
De Landhoeve is located in the North Veluwe, near sandy beaches and Lake Veluwe and close to forests, sand drifts and heathland.
Also the historic Hanseatic cities around the corner: Elburg, Hattem, Zwolle, Harderwijk and Kampen.
